OxyMem attended this year’s Water and Energy Exchange Global Event which was held in Portugal from March 4th to 6th. Now in its 12th year, WEX Global has continued to build a great reputation as an important industry event for the leading organisations that are really making a difference in the world of water and energy. It was a great event in that many of the biggest industry leaders were present to discuss how important issues could possibly be resolved, globally. OxyMem, an Irish company manufacturing the most advanced MABR technology available today, were presented with two awards during the prestigious event, further showcasing the recognition the company is receiving from the industry.
At the Gala dinner on the 5th of March OxyMem`s Commercial Director John McConomy was presented with WEX Global 2019 Operations Award for ease of plant expansion using drop-in OxyFAS modules; improving plant performance, stability and effluent quality during times of increased loads. The installation futureproofed an existing plant by offering 30% increased capacity following a five day install and without taking the tank offline. OxyMem worked alongside Acciona on the project in question and was presented the Award by Aqualia, a key sponsor of the WEX 2019 event.
